Some old Kid Cudi for you produced by Dot Da Genius that never got released until now. Pretty simple beat, but I love the piano loop on it. You can lost in the song and his lyrics. I always appreciate him singing on hooks not a beautiful voice but just makes sense in the track. Much more based in Hip Hop vs.  his new stuff that can be a little out there for me. I remember when I discovered Afro Beat years ago and I was pissed that I had spent so many years without this amazing inspirational music. I of course fell in love with Fela Kuti and through digging and searching I discovered there was so much more out there. Chico Mann(Marcos Garcia) is member of the world renown brookyln based afrobeat group Antibalas. He does an amazing job of pulling together some great afrobeat cuts for this mixtape. Well hopefully the cover grabbed your attention for you to listen to this new remix of Justice’s “On’n’On” My friends make fun of me a lot because I am known to say “I got a remix of that…”. Well to all of you here is another one, but I got to say I love the remix way better than the original and the new beat is done by no other than the legendary Rick Rubin. He puts a funky sexy beat over it and magic happens. If you ever saw the Dave Chapelle skit where he talks about how everything looks cooler in slow motion.
